About the event

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN GANGTOK 

Upon arriving at NJP (New Jalpaiguri) or Bagdogra Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by our representative, setting the stage for your Himalayan adventure. From there, embark on a scenic drive to Gangtok, the enchanting capital of Sikkim. After checking in at your comfortable hotel, take the rest of the day to relax and explore the local surroundings at your own pace. As evening falls, enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel before retreating for a restful overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 2: DISCOVERING GANGTOK 

Awaken to a hearty breakfast at the hotel, fuelling you for a day of exploration. Start your local sightseeing tour with a visit to the grand. Immerse yourself in Tibetan culture and history at the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a renowned museum and research institute. Visit the serene temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, After Visit Ganesha Temple, Pay your respects at this sacred Hindu temple. Then Explore Plant Conservatory, the diverse plant species housed in this conservatory. Enjoy the lush greenery and the variety of exotic plants and flowers on display. Visit Tashi View Point, The stunning panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga and the surrounding mountains. Capture some breathtaking photographs of the Himalayan landscape. Then visit Gunjang Monastery, this peaceful monastery to learn about Buddhist traditions and enjoy the serene environment. Take a moment to meditate or simply absorb the tranquillity. In the evening, Witness the beauty of cascading Bakthang Falls waterfall. Then Discover local crafts and traditional art at Handloom & Handicrafts center. Enjoy the colorful display of local flowers at this exhibition at Flower Show. Then Experience an aerial view of Gangtok as you ride the ropeway. The journey offers spectacular vistas of the city and the surrounding mountains. Then Visit Deorali Chorten, The chorten is a place of meditation and peace, perfect for ending your day on a reflective note.

Cap off your day with a leisurely stroll along MG Marg, the bustling heart of Gangtok, filled with vibrant shops and cafes. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening and a delightful dinner before another peaceful overnight stay. Stay at Gangtok.

DAY 3: TSOMGO AND BABA MANDIR

After a nourishing breakfast, set out on a memorable excursion to Tsomgo Lake, a breath-taking glacial lake nestled amidst the towering Himalayan peaks. Following this, visit the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to a legendary Indian army soldier. After, move towards Nathula Pass, Enjoy the stunning landscapes and pristine beauty of the area before heading back to Gangtok. Unwind with dinner at the hotel and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s majestic sights. Stay at Gangtok.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO DARJOLING

Enjoy a final breakfast in Gangtok before checking out and transferring to Darjeeling, renowned for its scenic beauty and tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in at your charming Darjeeling hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the hill station's delightful streets and attractions. Dinner at the hotel will offer a taste of local and international cuisines, followed by a restful overnight stay in Darjeeling.

DAY 5 : EXPLORE DARJILING

Rise early for an unforgettable sunrise experience at Tiger Hill, where you’ll witness the first light of day casting a magical glow over the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, including the majestic Mount Kanchenjunga. Return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast before diving into Darjeeling’s highlights. Visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park to see rare Himalayan wildlife, including the elusive snow leopard. Discover serenity at the Japanese Peace Pagoda, offering panoramic views of Darjeeling and its surroundings. Finally, enjoy at a UNESCO World Heritage-listed Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, known for its scenic Toy Train. Return to your hotel for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, reminiscing about the day’s memorable experiences.

Day 6: DEPARTURE. 

On your final day, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and transferring to NJP or Bagdogra Airport. Bid a fond farewell to the stunning hills of Sikkim and Darjeeling, cherishing the incredible memories of your Himalayan journey as you continue your travels.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

In case you wish to cancel your trek please email us at hikers.mountain@gmail.com & contact our respective representative.

1. 50% refund if cancellation is made more than 30 days and less than 45 days prior  to the departure date of the event.

2. 25% refund if cancellation is made more than 20 days and less than 30 days prior  to the departure date of the event.

3. NO refund will be made if cancellation is made within 20 days prior to the  departure date of the event.

4. In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural  calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.) of Mountain  Hikers, no refund shall be payable.

Cancellation charges are based on the total trek fee, irrespective of the amount paid either full or partial.
