About the event
Day 1: LEH ARRIVAL – FULL DAY ACCLIMATIZATION.
Arrive in Leh, where a Wisdom representative will meet you, assist with your transfer to your hotel in Likir, and help you settle in. The day is free for you to adjust to the high altitude of Ladakh. In the evening, take a peaceful walk around Likir village and visit Likir Gompa. Afterward, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Likir Gompa: Founded in the 11th century and later rededicated in the 15th century, Likir Gompa was rebuilt in the 18th century after a fire. Known for its skilled craftsmanship, the village produces beautiful Thankas, earthen pots, and wooden folding stools. The gompa offers spectacular views, and a giant Jupiter tree, one of the few of its kind, stands in its courtyard.
Day 2: LEH- LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
