About the event

DAY 01: Pickup from Leh airport and transfer to hotel. After a glorious morning flight over the Himalayas, reach Kushok Bakula Rimpochee airport and transfer to your hotel in Leh. Remember you’ve just landed at a high altitude destination practically from the sea level (Delhi lies at an altitude of roughly 200m above sea level) and that means your body needs time to acclimatize to this drastic change. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest where in welcome tea and coffee will be  served by the hotel, Overnight hotel.  

DAY 02: Leh/Sangam/Leh After breakfast drive to sangam, enroute visit  Gurudwara pathar sahib  and Magnetic hill point(where the cars defy gravity.enjoy the view of sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers.) After visiting the above places we drive back to leh and visit the Hall of Fame (Museum Constructed by  Indian Army ) and shanti stupa  on the hill top where you can see a spectacular view of leh town. Enroute visit Leh palace from there you enjoy  the amazing and breathtaking view of the whole leh town. Overnight at a hotel in leh.  

DAY 03:Leh- Khardungla - Nubra Valley After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardung-la (alt: 18300 ft.),2nd highest motor able pass in the world. On reaching Deskit visit the magnificent disket monastery one of the largest monastery in the valley and yes off course the 2 story maitreya Buddha statue opposite to the monastery which provide a magnificent view of the valley and later depart to diskit/ Hunder in the afternoon and check-in at your camp / hotel. Rest of the at leisure to explore Hundar and the white Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel Safari on the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional, on direct payment). Overnight in camp / hotel at Hunder / Diskit.  

DAY 04: Nubra Turtuk Nubra  After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which was first time opened for tourists in 2010) which is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war.The village's inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone. Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of a beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days you can have a glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Return to Hundar by the evening.Overnight at hunder in hotel/camp.  

DAY 05: Nubra to Pangong

After breakfast, drive to Pangong lake via shyok valley. Pangong Lake (alt: 14,500 ft.), largest brackish water lake of Asia, is 4-5 kms wide and about 135 kms long of which two-third portion lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the sun set on the banks of the lake with magnificent mountains. Overnight stay in a cottage /camp at pangong.  

DAY 06: Pangong to leh

Early in the morning, enjoy the picturesque view  of sunrise on the lake. After Breakfast drive back to leh  vai Changla  pass- 17350 ft/5488 mtrs.After continue drive to leh.  Thiksey Monastery is a gompa (Tibetan-style monastery) affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey approximately 19 kilometres (12 mi) east of Leh . It is noted for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, and is the largest gompa in central Ladakh, notably containing a separate set of buildings for female renunciates that has been the source of significant recent building and reorganisation.Overnight in leh hotel.  

DAY 07: Departure from Leh

Check out from the hotel in time to catch your flight for onward destination with wonderful memories of Ladakh

Any up-gradation in room category, food menu etc.

Any special attire required to visit any sightseeing place.

Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. (to be borne by the client, who is directly payable on the spot)

Anything else than includes list.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

In case you wish to cancel your trek please email us at hikers.mountain@gmail.com & contact our respective representative.

1. 50% refund if cancellation is made more than 30 days and less than 45 days prior  to the departure date of the event.

2. 25% refund if cancellation is made more than 20 days and less than 30 days prior  to the departure date of the event.

3. NO refund will be made if cancellation is made within 20 days prior to the  departure date of the event.

4. In case of cancellation of any event due to reasons beyond control (like Natural  calamities, riots, political uncertainty, public transport failure etc.) of Mountain  Hikers, no refund shall be payable.

Cancellation charges are based on the total trek fee, irrespective of the amount paid either full or partial.
